For me, the key skills a recruitment consultant must have are:
• The ability to make the candidate believe he is working for you
• A good knowledge of capabilities of that candidate in order to present him or her to clients
• An understanding that maintaining good communication with candidates, as well as clients, is a vital part of building successful relationships
